Problem summary


    

  • The PROTECTED constant for secure internal token keys in
IBMJCECCA does not adequately describe their functionality.

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • IBMJCECCA is being changed such that PROTECTED keys are now
called SECURE_INTERNAL_TOKEN. The PROTECTED constant is now
marked deprecated. Usage of PROTECTED shall still be allowed,
however, the new constant SECURE_INTERNAL_TOKEN should be used
from now on.

This APAR will be fixed in the following Java Releases:
   8    SR5 FP35  (8.0.5.35)
