Problem summary

  * USERS AFFECTED: All users of IBM Tools Base for z/OS         *

  *                 IMS Tools Setup                              *

  * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: This APAR resolves several issues in    *
  *                      IMS Tools Setup                         *
  ****************************************************************
  * RECOMMENDATION: Apply the maintenance for this APAR.         *
  ****************************************************************
  Issues resolved are the following:
  1. IMS Partner Product exit routine of IMS Administration Tool
    is not copied to a correct library.
  2. Instruction in CUSTJCL(#B3AD2@) regarding SMTP is obsolete/
    insufficient.
  3. There are errors, missing and redundant statements in the
    following skeleton JCL members.
    - CUSTJPDS(BSYDRF)
    - CUSTJPDS(BSYFPSI)
    - CUSTJPDS(BSYHPCA)
    - CUSTJPDS(BSYHPIC)
    - CUSTJPDS(BSYIIB)
  4. IMS Command Feature of IMS Admin Tool using DASD-logstreams
    is not supported.
  5. Multiple TAS and TCB server instances of Distributed Access
    Infrastructure are not supported.
  6. Full Function Recovery DB Sensor JCL should use PGM=IAVXNTFY
    and the parameters should be provided by SET symbols for
    usability.
  7. Multiple data sets are specified in HPCAPROC DD statement in
    HP Change Accumulation procedure, which is not supported.
  8. DD statements for internal use are specified in a JCL
  9. There is not an option to customize IMS Library Integrity
    Utilities as a standalone utility.
  

Problem conclusion

• 1. CUSTJCL(#A0EXIT) has been merged with #A0COMB and COPY
     statement for ATYPPUE0 is added
  2. Description in CUSTJCL(#B3AD2@) has been updated.
  3. The skeleton JCL members has been corrected.
  4. An ISPF panel to select logstream type has been added.
     CUSTJCL(#A7ATY5) has been provided to support DASD logstream.
  5. An option has been added to specify XCF group suffix for the
     servers.
  6. CUSTJCL(#R9DBSEN) has been updated.
  7. CUSTPROC(HPCA) has been corrected to specify a single
     procedure library.
  8. Comment has been added to CUSTJCL(B8ATYV1) to prohibit
     specifying DAIMSGS, DAITRACE, HKTXPLOG, and ATY#CLNT.
  9.An option to choose LIU as a standalone utility is added. It
   is displayed when the bundling pack is not selected.
