Error description
Transaction AAAA on a TOR TOR1 routes to AOR AOR1. The transaction issues an EXEC CICS START command to run a new task at the current terminal EXEC CICS START TRANSID(ABCD) TERMID(DDDD) The new transaction is defined as ROUTABLE(YES) in the AOR and has REMOTESYSTEM(AOR2) in the TOR to statically route to a different AOR. This results in message DFHAC2016 being sent to the terminal and DFHPG0209 being issued to MSGUSR in the TOR because program ######## is unavailable for transaction CRTX. The problem is the AID in the TOR not being built correctly as the value in ICETRNID has been corrupted. This causes CRTX to run instead of the requested transaction.
Local fix
Problem summary
**************************************************************** * USERS AFFECTED: All users * **************************************************************** * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: Users of enhanced EXEC CICS START * * commands will encounter errors when * * the command is routed to a TOR for * * execution. * **************************************************************** An EXEC CICS START TERMID command is routed from an AOR to the TOR. In the TOR the START is re-issued and an ICE is created. The ICE ends up with ICETRNID containing a value from low core instead of the required transaction id. When the ICE expires DFHALP creates an AID and the bad ICETRNID value gets copied into AIDTRNID. When the terminal is available DFHALP issues an attach for the AIDTRNID transaction. This fails and CRTX is attached instead. DFHAPRT then tries to run CRTX locally and that fails because program ######## is unavailable. Message DFHAC2016 is sent to the terminal and message DFHPG0209 is written to MSGUSR in the TOR. Additional keywords: msgDFHAC2016 msgDFHPG0209 AC2016 PG0209
Problem conclusion
DFHEIIC has been changed to correctly process the routed START command in the TOR. DFHICP then populates ICETRNID with the correct transaction id.
