Error description
We discarded the active WLMDEF and have deleted it plus the CICS system group (AORSCOPE) N#NN from our EYUREDREP. . Problem summary
**************************************************************** * USERS AFFECTED: All CPSM users for V5R4M0 and V5R5M0. * **************************************************************** * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: After discarding an active WLMDEF and * * its scope, a CMAS warm restart causes * * exception message 'EYUWI0012E XXXXXX * * WLM warmstart AOR normalization could * * not complete for AOR Scope (xxx) in * * context (xxx).' to be issued. * **************************************************************** * RECOMMENDATION: After applying the PTF resolving APAR * * PH05678, all CMASes must be restarted to * * activate the fix. * * The restarts do not need to occur at the * * same time. * **************************************************************** After discarding an active WLMDEF and also deleting its target system group, a CMAS warm restart causes CPSM to check the state of installed WLMDEF scopes. The missing CICS System Group causes CPSM to issue message: EYUWI0012E XXXXXX WLM warmstart AOR normalization could not complete for AOR Scope (xxx) in context (xxx). This message occurs because the scope installed previously for the WLMDEF can no longer be reconciled against the CICS system group.
Problem conclusion
CPSM has been modified so that an invalid CICS system group is treated in the same way as an empty group for the purposes of AOR normalization. Message EYUWI0012E will not be produced.
