Error description

  • When multiple users used Admin Tool, the following trouble was
    found in DAI TCP.
    1. Abend 0C1 occurred in DAI TCP when the number of users
    exceeded 32. The DAI TCP has an internal table for managing
    users. Operation exception occurred because the return address
    from the routine for additionally creating this internal table
    was incorrect.
    2. Admin Tool timed out while waiting for a response from DAT
    TCP. When DAI TCP received multiple client requests at the same
    time, it did not process the Client request after the
    Disconnect request. As a result, timeout occurred in some
    clients.

    When multiple users start on use Admin Tool, it may cause the
    following problems.
    
    1.  The DAI TCP has an internal table for managing users.
    ABEND0C1 occurs in DAI TCP when the number of users exceeds 32,
    because the return address from the routine for additionally
    creating the internal table is incorrect.
    2.  When DAI TCP receives multiple client requests at the same
    time, it does not process the Client request after the
    disconnect request. As a result, timeout occurs in some clients.
    

Problem conclusion

  • The following DAI TCP modules have been changed to fix the
    above problem:
    - AIINSSEC
    - AIINTCP
