In the PAC configuration files, spaces cause the current stanza being processed to be reset. After this change, lines starting with a space are ignored unless the environment variable CP_PAC_RESET_STANZA_WITH_SP is set.

Problem summary
**************************************************************** * USERS AFFECTED: Users of IBM Caching Proxy LDAP * **************************************************************** * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: Spaces in PAC configuration files * * causes stanzas to be reset * * unintentionally. * **************************************************************** * RECOMMENDATION: Remove any spaces leading directives in * * PAC config files that are unnecessary. * **************************************************************** In the PAC configuration files, spaces cause the current stanza being processed to be reset.
Problem conclusion
IBM Caching Proxy was changed to ignore leading spaces instead of reseting the stanza. To revert to the old behavior, users should set the environment variable 'CP_PAC_RESET_STANZA_WITH_SP' to any value. This fix is targeted for IBM Caching Proxy fix packs: - 9.0.0.10 - 8.5.5.15
