Error description
Switched logical units become inactive after RNAA failures. When physical unit connection is broken, the LUs are left inactive. Operator intervention is required to recover LUs. This is a fix for SUG apar OY66486.

Problem summary
**************************************************************** * USERS AFFECTED: All using Switched logical units * **************************************************************** * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: MSGIST380I is issued with sense * * 08120007 for RNAA request units. The * * cause of the error is insufficient * * LUDRPOOL in the NCP. The LU is placed * * in an inactive state. * * This makes it necessary for operator * * intervention (ie. Vary activate of LU, * * PU, or switched major node) to recover * * the LU. * **************************************************************** * RECOMMENDATION: * **************************************************************** Current processing of RNAA errors results in the logical unit being placed in an inactive status. This makes it necessary for operator intervention to recover the LU. The processing for ACTLU failures places the LU in a connectable (CONCT) status after the failure, making operator intervention unnecessary. (Apar OY01784 made ACTLU processing work in this manner.) The processing for ACTLU and RNAA should be consistent. So RNAA failure processing will be changed to put the LU in CONCT status This will make it unnecessary for operator intervention to recover the LU after the physical connection with the PU is broken. It should be noted that while the connection is up that incurred the RNAA failure, the LU will be in CONCT status, but will be unusable. If the problem that caused the RNAA failure is temporary, a vary activate of the LU will (assuming the next RNAA is successful) place the LU in active status (ACTIV), and it will be usable.
Problem conclusion
ISTACCSU is changed to make the desired state CONCT for switched LUs with RNAA failures.
