SDE can not handle 'FIRST ('')' in SET clause of DEFINE UPDATE statement clause correctly then it will cause an abend U002. - S0C4 abend when collecting SMF 99 records. The length of diagnostic message is set incorrectly which will cause S0C4 abend when collecting SMF 99 records. - SDE doesn't write CSV header for TABLE. The csv header write option is not set which will cause no csv header in the CSV output TABLE. - SDE stopped working in case of overflow during realtime collection. If there is overflow during realtime collection, it is not reasonable for SDE to stop working since it will cause the incoming data from not being collected unless SDE is recycled. - SDE batch job directly fails if output file hits B37. If output file hits B37 in SDE batch job, it should be reported as warning instead of a failure since the data and process may be correct. - Split SMF 70 record cannot be collected due to invalid record sequence. SDE can not handle the case when SMF70CPN=0 which causes the SMF 70 record not be collected. - SDE cannot start the JVM under JAVA11/17 when the home directory of the STC user ID does not exist. There is no check for CDP_HOME and CDP_SMP_HOME during start process there is no obvious information as to what the issue is when the home directory of the STC user ID does not exist under JAVA 11/17. - The empty policy can not be deleted. The configuration tool does not handle the deletion process for a policy of size 0. - S42SCNAM was set to null due to error. With the change introduced by z/OS PTF UA93445, the length of section SMF4205A has changed. CDP was enhanced to handle this change.
