Error description

• The PI Server running in the HSS has a performance lag (only on
  startup).

  *                 and subsystem presentation services,         *
  *                 when installed on z/OS UNIX System Services  *
  *                 and starting them with the JCL shipped with  *
  *                 the PTFs.                                    *

  * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: Excessive CPU resulting in slow start   *
  *                      up for components of ZLDA on USS but    *
  *                      normalizes after a few minutes          *
  ****************************************************************
  * RECOMMENDATION: If you are impacted, install this service.   *

  Beginning with PTFs UJ09543 & UJ09543, (Service level 5.1.0.8),
  the Authentication service, Gateway service, Problem Insights
  server, Rules engine, Scorecard dashboard service and subsystem
  presentation services, when installed on z/OS UNIX System
  Services, use an excessive amount of CPU during the first
  few minutes of operation.
  

Problem conclusion

• Updates were made to allow the Authentication service, Gateway
  service, Problem Insights server, Rules engine, Scorecard
  dashboard service and subsystem presentation services JVMs share
  class data. Sharing class data between JVMs improves start
  up performance and reduces memory footprint.
