Problem summary

• ****************************************************************
  * USERS AFFECTED: All users of the machine learning system of  *
  *                 IBM Z Operations Analytics version 4.1 who   *
  *                 have a Db2 location name longer than four    *
  *                 characters and also all users having only    *
  *                 the Alternate Library for REXX for running   *
  *                 compiled REXX programs.                      *
  ****************************************************************
  * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: (1) IZOA_DBSID, which is specified in   *
  *                      the izoaml.config configuration file,   *
  *                      is restricted to a 4-character Db2      *
  *                      subsystem ID beginning with             *
  *                      IZOA 4.1.0.10                           *
  *                                                              *
  *                      (2) Beginning with IZOA 4.1.0.10, users *
  *                       that only have the REXX Alternate      *
  *                       Library get errors when running CLI    *
  *                       commands that need to allocate and     *
  *                       copy data sets, submit JCL or obtain   *
  *                       SYSOUT data or JOB status for a        *
  *                       specific JOB. The CLI command results  *
  *                       in message GLAW003E and return code 8. *

  * RECOMMENDATION: It is recommended that all users of the      *
  *                 machine learning system install this PTF     *
  ****************************************************************
      The following changes have been made:
  
          (1) IZOA_DBSID, which is specified in the izoaml.config
              configuration file, can now be a 4-character Db2
              subsystem ID or a 1 to 16 character Db2 location
              name
          (2) Compiled REXX modules shipped in this PTF have been
              recompiled to allow the REXX modules which:
                - allocate a data set and copy contents to it
                - submit JCL
                - obtain SYSOUT data for a specific JOB
                - obtain JOB status for a specific JOB
              to now run with the Alternate Library for REXX as
              well as with the REXX on zSeries Library.
  

Problem conclusion

•         IZOA v4.1 is updated to fix the problems introduced
          in 4.1.0.10
