- VSAM RACF data sets can be shared. When sharing a RACF VSAM data set, all systems sharing the RACF data sets must be in the same Global Resource Serialization (GRS) complex. - VSAM RACF data sets can be used in a SYSPLEX environment. - VSAM RACF data sets can be SMS managed. - VSAM RACF data sets can be encrypted. - VSAM data sets can be used in a multi-data set (split) RACF database. - IRRUT200 PARM=RENAMEACTIVATE is successfully able to undo the data set rename operations in certain error situations. - Detection of incorrect VSAM data set attributes no longer results in erroneous messages.
