OA60018: NEW IMS SUPPORT

APAR status

• Closed as new function.

Error description

• This new function provides support for IMS in parity with
  the current support for CICS.
  
  It includes IMSPlex support, IMS Full function with DLI and
  DB2 calls, IMS Fast Path with DLI and DB2 calls, and
  IMS-MQ Bridge support with DLI and DB2 calls and a
  reply queue node.
  
  For customers who have previously installed zAPM into IMS
  systems running MQ-IMS Bridge transactions, this support will
  solve a potential 0C4 abend.
  

Local fix

Problem summary

• 0C4 abend with IMS-MQ Bridge applications. Missing IMSPlex and
  Fast Path support.
  

Problem conclusion

• zAPM connect now supports transaction tracking of the following
  types of IMS transactions:
  - IMS PLEX (IMS to IMS)
  - IMS to DB2 backend detail information
  - IMS MQ Bridge (addition of support fixes abend)
  - IMS FastPath
  - IMS FastPath DEDB and MSDB databases.
  - IMS Full Function to FastPath DEDB and MSDB databases
