    * usage but only a little amount of *
    * sender data is discarded. *

    * RECOMMENDATION: Apply this PTF. *
    ****************************************************************
In some cases, the key contributor for the heap is not the
sender. When this happens, only a little amount of data in the
biggest sender will be discarded for GC (Garbage Collection)
using the current logic. CDP needs to adjust the heap management
to prevent this kind of invalid discard of data.

Problem conclusion

  • CDP v2.1 is updated to enhance the logic of heap management by
adding a check of whether the sender is the key contributor of
the heap or not, before discarding the data to enhance the GC
    efficiency of Data Streamer.
