A "CANCEL" command to CA-JCLCHECK EDIT macro !JCK , causes a
FREEMAIN to a DSC control block from a storage sub-pool 16 ,
resulting in an MSL user ABEND with message:
"U3999 @@@ UNEXPECTED TBLH RETURN-CODE" .

Problem conclusion

  • All DSC dynamic storage, previously allocated from sub-pool 16,
is now allocated from sub-pool 22 . CA-JCLCHECK EDIT macro !JCK
no longer causes a DSC MSL user ABEND .
