Error description

  • Predictive Failure Analysis (PFA) enhancements as follows:
    
    1.PFA_ENQUEUE_REQUEST_RATE: The default STDDEVLOW value is now
      8.
    2.PFA_COMMON_STORAGE_USAGE: Reduce exceptions that occasionally
      occurred shortly after a new model was created.
    3.PFA_MESSAGE_ARRIVAL_RATE, PFA_ENQUEUE_REQUEST_RATE, and
      PFA_SMF_ARRIVAL_RATE:  Improved logic to issue valid
                             exceptions.
    4.Reduce the creation of EXC_timestamp directories for
      subsequent, suppressed exceptions for all checks.

    Following enhancements are made to PFA.
    1.PFA_ENQUEUE_REQUEST_RATE: The default STDDEVLOW value is now 8
    which will reduce  too low  exceptions.
    2.PFA_COMMON_STORAGE_USAGE: Reduce exceptions that occasionally
    occurred shortly after a new model was created.
    3.PFA_MESSAGE_ARRIVAL_RATE, PFA_ENQUEUE_REQUEST_RATE, and
    PFA_SMF_ARRIVAL_RATE:  Improved logic to issue valid exceptions
    so that false positives are reduced and valid exceptions are
    not missed.
    4.Reduce the creation of EXC_timestamp directories for
    subsequent suppressed exceptions for all checks.
    

Problem conclusion

  • Code has been changed to implement the said enhancements.
