Error description
If you create a page with an ftp session and make no changes to the properies, the ssoType directive is not in the cfgx.cf file. When you start the session you get prompted for a destination address which opens the properties. Once anything is changed in the properties, the ssoType gets set to WebExpressLogon even if not using WEL. Then the next time the ftp session is started, an error message is presented: "Web Express Logon failed with the following error WELM014A. A malformed URL was specified for the Credential Mapper Server Address." Click ok and get prompted for userID and PW, then it continues to logon and work.

Problem summary
**************************************************************** * USERS AFFECTED: Users who define properties for an * * FTP-sftp session using the Deployment * * Wizard * **************************************************************** * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: After defining properties for an * * FTP-sftp session in the Deployment * * Wizard, the Express Logon field * * (ssoType in cfgx.cf) defaults to 'Web * * Express Logon' instead of 'None', * * resulting in an error when starting * * the session. * **************************************************************** * RECOMMENDATION: * **************************************************************** If an FTP-sftp session is created in the Deployment Wizard without configuring its properties, the Express Logon field correctly defaults to 'None'. (ssoType is not in the cfgx.cf file.) However, updating the session properties causes the Express Logon value to change to 'Web Express Logon'. (ssoType is 'ssoWebExpressLogon' in the cfgx.cf file.) When starting the session, user could then get the message, "Web Express Logon failed with the following error WELM014A. A malformed URL was specified for the Credential Mapper Server Address."
Problem conclusion
HOD code retrieves the values of the Express Logon property in a Java Enumeration. The problem is that the enumeration contains values in different order depending on the version of the IBM JRE being used by the HOD server. If 'Web Express Logon' is returned as the first value, it is erroneously used as the default instead of 'None'. Since HOD cannot alter values in enumerations (access is private to the Java code), it will no longer use Java enumerations when retrieving these property values. Added code to retrieve them in a different way, ensuring that 'None' is the default. Fix is scheduled to be available in HOD 11.0.4 Refresh pack
