Error description

  • User is getting an ABENDU0903 RC40 sometimes when running queued
notification in Web Access in BLGTNRQM. The STC continues to be
active but does not terminate and no further emails are
processed.

*                 (InfoMan) users who run 2 or more concurrent *
*                 Terminal Simulator Execs (TSXs) at a time.   *
****************************************************************
* PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: User is getting intermittent abend      *
*                      U0903 (ABENDU0903 ABENDU903) with       *
*                      Return Code 40 (RC40) when running      *
*                      queued notification in InfoMan Web      *
*                      Access in BLGTNRQM. The started task    *
*                      continues to be active but does not     *
*                      terminate and no further emails are     *
*                      processed.                              *
****************************************************************
* RECOMMENDATION: Apply the PTF.                               *
****************************************************************
InfoMan is checking an incorrect ECB to see if it is POSTed.
This causes a process running a TSX to continue when it should
still be waiting.

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • Correct the internal logic so that InfoMan waits on the correct
ECB.
