  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • When attempting to transfer a mail to a user whose mailbox is
full, Exchange can respond with "452 4.2.2 Mailbox full". This
error is specific to an individual user and should not prevent
other mails being transferred to that server.

Local fix

Problem summary

  • The problem is that the intent was to stop router to continue
to transferto a destination server with a "452 "4.2.2 Mailbox
Full" transient error if there is no space hence the first
452 error will prevent further attempts on the connection to
prevent other mails being transferred to that destination
server. However there was case where the 4.2.2 Mailbox Full"
error was per recipient error and not a generic server
mail.box error then it would make sense to continue to route
other messages. The fix is to provide a capability with a
     controlled ini "RouterContinueOnPerMessageError" to allow
router to continue to route other messages in this case if the
     controlled ini ""RouterContinueOnPerMessageError" was set.
