Error description

  • ERROR DESCRIPTION:
    Posta Elettronica Certificata (PEC)  is
    the Italian for "Certified Electronic Mail" and is a 3rd party
    provided service.
    The customer has set up the Notes 8.5.3 client as a POP3 client
    The customer can authenticate and access his mail on the PEC
    server and he can read his mail.
    When he tries to send a mail the mail fails, no errors.
    The customer tried to telnet to the PEC server but he did not
    see the
    expected responses ( got blank responses)
    The customer contacted the PEC providor and was told that this
    works for most POP3 clients and they are not aware of anything
    special that may be needed for Notes POP3 clients
