LI82537: INVOKE_1.5.0 AND PROXY_1.5.0 POLICIES GENERATE A PARSE FAILURE FOR HTML RESPONSES

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• The invoke_1.5.0 and proxy_1.5.0 policies were incorrectly
  attempting to parse the response content for html responses.
  

Local fix

Problem summary

• A DataPower parse action was being attempted in the case of a
  html response.  This action would attempt to parse the payload
  as XML since the implicit action generated was in "Detect" mode
  and the first character of html, like XML, is a <.  These
  policies now explicitly check for the content type being either
  an XML or JSON type before generating a parse action.
  

Problem conclusion

  provided in the API Connect releases 10.5.0.0 and
  10.0.1.7.</span>
