APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • disable dateext in logrotate.conf so that archived log files use
number format rather than date format

Local fix

Problem summary

  • IBM API Connect logs are archived with date in the filename. The
archive only occur once daily. In very active environments, some
logs, such as cmc.out, can become too large to archive. This
causes the partition /ih_var to reach 100% and runtime will go
    down.

Problem conclusion

  • This issue has been fixed in IBM API Connect v5.0.8.13.

If you are experiencing a runtime down due /ih_var reaching
100%, contact support to assist you in cleaning up the
partition. You can verify the disk usage of /ih_var by running
"stat show all" on the IBM API Connect node's command line.
