APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • When the map policy option mapEmulateV4DefaultRequiredProps
(v5c/v10) or
x-ibm-gateway-map-emulate-v4-default-required-properties (v5) is
enabled, required sibling properties of optional objects are not
created for leaf property mappings.  Only required sibling
objects of optional objects in the output path are created with
this option enabled.

Local fix

  • 



Problem summary


    

  • The traversal of the schema to generate required properties was
not traversing last object containing the definition of required
leaf object.  Required properties at that object were not being
created as they should have been.  The traversal now looks at
the last object and will create required sibling properties if
necessary.

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • <span style="background-color:rgb(255, 255, 255)">A fix will be
provided in the API Connect releases 10.0.4.0, 10.0.1.6,
2018.4.1.19 and 5.0.8.13.</span>
