APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • In API Connnect version 5, the APIs can reference catalog
titles in the properties section. However, in API Connect v10,
the APIs use the catalog Name.
During the migration from v5 to v10, the AMU will find the
titles that match catalogs in the current provider org and will
replace them with their name.
For all other catalogs that the AMU is not able to find, as
they may be in other provider orgs, it will just sluggify the
title.
Afterwards, the API designer UI will not able to resolve the
catalog and display in the drop down list.

Problem summary


    

  • In v5, the user can add custom Catalog Title/Name from the
source view and it appears in the UI catalog dropdown list, but
this feature is not working at v10.

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • This v5 parity issue will be fixed in v10.0.1.2.
