APAR status

Error description

  • When a customer is using LDAP registry and as such the
invitation/signup workflow requires a non-email address
username, then it appears that a DNS check is being performed on
the 'username' field which causes to prevent the customer from
completing the registration.

Local fix

  • Disable check_dns module

Problem summary

  • DNS check fails developer portal user registration when using
LDAP registery

Problem conclusion

  • Fix targeted at release 2018.4.1.15, and 10.0.1.1
