APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • The construction of an internal XML nodeset with the names and
values of the request headers is failing the request as the
request header has an invalid XML character.

Local fix

  • N/A

Problem summary

  • The XML characters in these header values were being placed into
an XML nodeset to hold the request headers and values, but these
values made the XML malformed which caused the API to fail.

Problem conclusion

  • <span style="background-color:rgb(255, 255, 255)">A fix will be
delivered in the API Connect 5.0.8.10, 2018.4.1.15, 10.0.0.2 LTS
releases and the 10.0.2.0 CD release.</span>
