  • Developer portal blocks the WAF IP or the Load balancer IP on
detecting suspicious activities.

Problem summary


    

  • The developer portal may block the IP address of load-balancer
in front of it, even when forwarding the client ip address via
x-forwarded-for.

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • From v2018.4.1.9 ifix 1, IP addresses can be whitelisted by
exec'ing into www pod admin container and using the whitelist_ip
command.  After restarting the pod, the specified IPs will not
be blocked.<span style="background-color:rgb(255, 255, 255)">
     </span>
