APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• In an REST API we defined a 204 Response code (no Content).
  When executing the Validation policy on response after the
  Proxy call, a Validation error is thrown when a 204 / empty
  Body is returned from the Service. Is this a bug in the
  Validation policy since the swagger specifies the Responses? I
  upload the example yaml, we did a work-around with checking the
  request-Body,

Problem summary

• Users receive the 400 error message "Validate REST: Unable to
  validate content as there is either no payload or the media
  type: [] is unknown" when attempting to validate against a 204
  response with no content.
  

Problem conclusion

• The fix is targeted for inclusion in IBM API Connect v5.0.8.6
  fixpack.
