APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • If you have a tab control in a nested composite view, then
selecting a large tab may prevent other tabs from being
selected. The editor will scroll to show the local selection bar
 at the bottom of the tab when selecting another tab, preventing
 the tab from being selected. This should only occur if the
composite view has "Can Fire Boundary Event" selected in its
overview.

Local fix

  • Temporarily uncheck the "Can Fire Boundary Event" selected on
its overview tab of the composite view to allow the editing to
completed without issue. Once the necessary editing is finished,
 recheck the "Can Fire Boundary Event" if required.

Problem conclusion

  • A fix is available or will be available that ensures tabs of a
large Tab view contained in a composite view can be edited
regardless of the "Can Fire Boundary Event" setting.
