Error description

  • You receive an error when you try to upload a Microsoft Word
    Macro-Enabled document (docm) that uses a view from the Content
    Management toolkit.
    
    This issue is specific to Microsoft Word Macro-Enabled document
    (docm) that have the mime type of:
    application/vnd.ms-word.document.macroEnabled.12
    
    On the application server logs, you see the following:
    com.ibm.ws.webcontainer.webapp.WebApp log SRVE0293E: [Servlet
    Error]-[CREATE_FILE_FAILED]: java.lang.SecurityException:
    Document Attachment document mime-type
    application/vnd.ms-word.document.macroEnabled.12 and extension
    docm is not accepted for upload to the server
    at com.lombardisoftware.portal.servlet.ECMDocumentServlet.creat
    eDocument(ECMDocumentServlet.java:1103)

Local fix

  • Configure the mime type in 100Custom.xml match the
    case-sensitive mime type value for a Microsoft Word
    Macro-Enabled document (docm).
