APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • ThE DBUpgrade command updates an internal table to keep track of
the database update progress. But when the transaction fails,
we still record the transaction_id,  thus if you re-run the
DBUpgrade command, the failed sql will not be executed again.

Local fix

  • In the upgradeSchema_ProcessServer.sql, find the failed sql and
get its transaction id, delete the transaction id from the
DBUPGRADE_PROGRESS table.

Problem summary

  • No additional information is available.

Problem conclusion

  • A fix that solves the problem will be available in a future
release of Business Automation Workflow.
