JR64362: AN ERROR OCCURS WHEN OPENING AN APPLICATION IN IBM INTEGRATION DESIGNER FROM THE WORKFLOW CENTER PERSPECTIVE

APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • When you open a process app or toolkit in IID from Workflow
    Center perspective, it fails with the following error:
    "Could not get information from Process Center about the process
    application or toolkit. A communication error occurred or you do
    not have the proper permission"
    
    The IID log shows the following NullPointerException:

Local fix

  • Restore any toolkit snapshot either directly referenced or via
    nested toolkits before opening the app in IID.
    

Problem summary

  • This error occurs because the application has an archived
    toolkit snapshot, either directly referenced or via nested
    toolkits.
