Error description
In the user interface of the WebSphere Integrated Solutions Console (Administration Console) under Servers > Deployment Environments > "DENAME" > Failed Event Manager you see a system message which claims "The Recovery sub-system is disabled". In this case you receive an empty list when you select "Get all failed events".
Local fix
This problem can be solved by a logout of the Administration Console and login again.
Problem summary
The Deployment Manager is not refreshing an internal cache properly which leads to a connectivity problem with the Failed Event Manager server component.
Problem conclusion
A fix is available for IBM Business Automation Workflow (BAW) 21.0.2 which fixes this issue around the Deployment Manager cache handling.
