  • Java profiling shows many blocked threads on one dedicated

Problem summary


    

  • A huge amount of blocked threads on
com/ibm/bpe/message/DeployedSDOMessageTypeHelper are observed
which all call the computeType(DeployedSDOMessageType) method.
As this method is synchronized the call stack is increasing
quickly causing delays in the processing.

Problem conclusion


    

  • A fix is available which changes the synchronization behavior of
the computeType(DeployedSDOMessageType) method to avoid these
lock situations.
