Error description

  • If you are using the Greek locale and that the interim fix for
APAR JR63746 is installed, then any query string in Process
Portal that uses Lucene query syntax reserved keywords causes
and INVALID_SEARCH_QUERY_EXCEPTION exception.

Problem summary


    

  • To fix APAR JR63746, if the current locale was the greek locale,
 the code was changing to lowercase the entire query string,
including the reserved Lucene search keywords that must be
uppercase. As a consequence, these lowercase keywords are
causing the INVALID_SEARCH_QUERY_EXCEPTION error.

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • A fix is available or will be available that ensures that in
Greek locale, the Lucene GreekAnalyzer is used to index and
search in to the Process Portal Lucene Index
