APAR status

Error description

  • Some parameters usage is not clear in some instances:



1. When parameters marked <Required> are not needed, it is not
clear what should be done.

For example sc_ingress_tls_secret_name or
elasticsearch_configuration.service_account are not clear on
what to do when they aren't needed.



2. Some parameters seem like they have valid default values, but
they are marked required anyway.

Settings like network_shared_directory_pvc seems to have a
default value but is still marked as required.

Local fix

  • If a setting is conditionally required and you are not using it,
 then comment out the setting.
For secrets, leave out optional setting that aren't being used.

Problem summary

  • No additional information is available.

Problem conclusion

  • A fix is available or will be available that makes the
parameters usage more clearly.
