Error description

  • There is not much information about validation containers, such
as getNearestValidationContainer and getValidationContainers,
other than what's in "bpmext.ui"
(https://www.ibm.com/support/knowledgecenter/SS8JB4_20.x/com.ibm
.wbpm.ref.doc/bpmui/bpmext.ui.html). The UI views (such as Plain
 Text, Single Select) use these functions, but it's not clear
what they do, how they are used, and if they should be used in
custom views.

Furthermore, the documentation is incorrect for
bpmext.ui.updateViewValidationState and
bmext.ui.addViewValidationError is missing from the
documentation although many UI views use it.
