Error description

  • "Configuring IBM Business Automation Workflow with an existing
    external Content Platform Engine"
    .wbpm.imuc.doc/topics/t_bpmexistecm.html) are correct, but if
you don't complete step 10.b, which states "Use the user from
step 6 when granting administrative access to this object store.
You may also use a group that contains this user.", the ECM
Technical User isn't considered a member of the Object Store
Administrators, which could cause errors like the following
error found in the IBM Business Automation Workflow
    SystemOut.log file:

    CWTDS0001E: The object definition
    'CustomObject.ObjectDefinitionState' cannot be created. Details:
'The requester has insufficient access rights to perform the
    requested operation.'

In the IBM Content Platform Engine SystemOut.log file, you find
    an error like

FNRCE0001E: E_ACCESS_DENIED: The requester has insufficient
access rights to perform the requested operation. Not granted
    CREATE INSTANCE permission.

Local fix

  • Use the Administrator Console for Content Engine (ACCE) security
wizard as described in "The Security Script wizard"
    .ibm.p8.ce.admin.tasks.doc/securityeditor/emsec_ssw_about.html)

The Content Platform Engine administrator must
Select the object store in ACCE and start the Security Script
    wizard.
Download and extract the .zip file, which has the JSON and
    JavaScript.
Import JSON and JavaScript into the wizard without making any
    changes to them.
Select the Object Store Administrators role and the ECM
    Technical User.
    Next, Next again, and Finish.
