APAR status

Error description

  • The deprecated Human Task Manager and Business Flow Manager
JAX-RPC API are not working correctly complaining that required
libraries are missing.
Additionally BAW installations which configure a custom
ContextRoot parameter encounter that the Human Task Manager
REST API is not accessible anymore properly.

Problem summary


    

  • The TaskContainer and BPEContainer applications are missing
essential client libraries which are required to enable the
Business Flow Manager and Human Task Manager JAX-RPC API
capability. Additionally BAW installations which leverage a
customized ContextRoot parameter are not able to interact with
the Human Task Manager REST API endpoint anymore because of
faulty entries in the deployment descriptor.

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • A fix is available for IBM Business Automation Workflow (BAW)
20.0.0.2 that enables the HumanTaskManager REST API to work
again properly.
