Error description

  • When viewing a dashboard  in Process Portal by using the
name-based URL, a dashboard snapshot from a different branch may
 be loaded.  If you are developing a dashboard and displaying it
 in Process Portal by specifying  a URL in the form of:

/ProcessPortal/dashboards/<application_acronym>/<service_name>
(i.e. /ProcessPortal/dashboards/MPA/MyDashboard),

a snapshot may be loaded that is not from the default branch.

Local fix

  • Call the dashboard by using the URL like


"/executecf?processApp=<acronym>&serviceName=<name>" (i.e.
/teamworks/executecf?processApp=MPA&serviceName=MyDashboard)

to load the tip of the default branch.

To call a specific version of a dashboard, use the runURL
parameter found in the results of the /exposed REST API
response, which specifies the modelID and branchID values.

Problem conclusion

  • A fix is available or will be available that ensures the default
 branch will be loaded when you launch a dashboard in Process
Portal by using the name-based URL parameters.
