Error description
You see an error message like the following message in a User Management Service log: CWWKS1460E: The OAuth feature encountered an error while running the [INSERT] operation with the [OXAtazhmodYdxPHHWHHO] OpenID Connect client in the cached database.
Local fix
1. Leaving only the Cloud Pak for Automation operator pod running, delete the current Cloud Pak for Automation deployment. 2. Set DB2_COMPATIBILITY_VECTOR to DB2_COMPATIBILITY_VECTOR= 3. Restart Db2. 4. Delete all Cloud Pak for Automation databases. 5. Re-create all the necessary Cloud Pak for Automation databases from scratch. 6. Redeploy Cloud Pak for Automation deployment. 7. Verify that everything works as expected.
Problem summary
This error occurs because the DB2_COMPATIBILITY_VECTOR setting is unsupported. This setting is, for example, set to ORA, for compatibility with Oracle databases. PRODUCTS AFFECTED IBM Cloud Pak for Automation
Problem conclusion
To use Db2 to host your Cloud Pak for Automation databases, run these Db2 commands before you create the databases to make sure Db2 doesn't run in any compatibility mode but runs in the default compatibility mode instead: db2set DB2_COMPATIBILITY_VECTOR= db2stop db2start
