APAR status

  • When replicating EDT column, sometimes CDC could incorrectly
include the 30 leading bytes that should be truncated for some
update operations

* 11.4.0.3-5570 or earlier, where Oracle is a source engine    *
* replicating tables with EDTs.                                *

* PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:                                         *
* CDC was inserting extra data to EDT columns when applying    *
* updates.                                                     *

* RECOMMENDATION:                                              *
* Upgrade to IDR 11.4.0.3-5572 or newer for Oracle.            *
****************************************************************

Problem conclusion

issue.
