JR62552: AN EMPTY STRING REPLICATED FROM A NON-ORA SRC DB TO AN ORACLE TARGET DB EXTENDED VARCHAR/NVARCHAR COLUMN BECOMES NULL

Error description

• Replicating an empty string from a non-Oracle source database
  into an Oracle target database extended VARCHAR/NVARCHAR column
  used to insert the empty value as an
  
  empty value, which resulted in Oracle converting the empty
  value to null. Now CDC  will insert a string with a single
  space character (UTF8 code 20) so Oracle will not convert it to
  null.  Note that this is the same behavior as for a
  non-extended VARCHAR/NVARCHAR column.
