APAR status

Error description

  • In some situations, you might find your custom java code tries
to load classes from the managed asset classloader even though
it should be using a normal WebSphere Application Server
classloader.

You see an error similar to this in the SystemOut.log:

Caused by: java.lang.IllegalArgumentException:
'jar:file:/opt/IBM/BAW/lib/ext/myAppJar.jar' is not a valid ID
in string form.
