Error description

  • You might notice that the IBM Workflow Center Indexer might seem
to stop updating and newer assets are no longer being added to
the index. As a result, the References function and Workflow
Center searches might not return newly created assets. If you
enable a trace on the server, you might see the following error
    while the index is enabled:

    [6/11/20 16:21:11:582 CEST] 00000112 DefaultReposi 3
    com.ibm.bpm.artifact.indexer.artifactstore.repo.DefaultRepositoy
    ArtifactStoreReaderResultSet postProcessDeletes Wraperring and
    rethrowing exception: java.lang.IllegalArgumentException:
    fromIndex(200) > toIndex(100) as:
    com.ibm.bpm.index.core.impl.ArtifactIndexerException: Exception
occured when post processing deletions: fromIndex(200) >
    toIndex(100)

When the index is automatically being updated, the deletion
might fail if numerous references (over 200) are being deleted
at once. Because the indexer processes deletions first, the
index completely stops being updated if this problem occurs.
