APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • When a snapshot is being imported into IBM Workflow Center or
cloned or deployed in IBM Workflow Server, the SystemOut.log
file doesn't indicate there are circular dependencies.

Local fix

  • To view circular dependencies, see the error and warning panel
in the web IBM Process Designer.

Problem summary

  • Circular dependency warnings are not reported in the
SystemOut.log file when a snapshot is imported, cloned, or
deployed. Circular dependencies should be reported with a
message like

[21/05/20 13:15:00:451 EDT] 00000157 ProjectDefaul W   The
'Toolkit B' toolkit ' refers to a version of itself, creating a
circular dependency : Toolkit B(S2)->Toolkit A(S1)->Toolkit
B(S1)
