Error description

• If you define the same user attribute in several process
  applications or toolkits and use the
  TWUser.setAttribute(name,value) JavaScript API to update the
  user attribute and the TWUser.attribute['name'] JavaScript API
  to retrieve its value later in the same application, you might
  notice that the retrieved value doesn't match the updated value.
  Instead the value from the a duplicate attribute definition is
  returned.
  

Local fix

• Remove the duplicate attribute definition entirely or assign the
  same value to each of the duplicate user attributes by using
  the Process Admin Console.
  

Problem summary

• This issue occurs because the TWUser.attributes['name']
  JavaScript function returns an arbitrarily chosen value from the
  duplicate user attributes.
  

Problem conclusion

• A fix is available or will be available that ensures that
  TWUser.attributes['name'] returns the value from the same user
  attribute definition that the TWUser.setAttribute(name,value)
  function updates.
