  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • When users use the 'Remove application' feature of IBM
Integration Designer to uninstall applications from their unit
test environment (UTE) server, in some cases, applications
cannot be removed successfully because of file locks on the JAR
files included in these applications. Error messages like the
following can be seen in the server logs:

Problem summary

  • This issue occurs because the JAR files aren't closed after the
uninstall service of relationship opens them and searched the
relationship related artifacts in them.

Problem conclusion

  • A fix that closes the dependency JAR files after the uninstall
service of relationship opens them is available for IBM BPM
V8.6.0.0 cumulative fix 2018.03.
