Error description
When you create an external service, a WSDL file in the web IBM Process Designer is discovered. After you select "Web service from URL", you click Discover and a list of operations appears. Some time after you select the operations and then next, the discovery process ends prematurely with the message "An error occurred obtaining a list of services from the specified URL. Reduce the amount of artifacts to discover in one of the following ways: - Discover only a subset of all provided operations by deselecting some of the operations in the wizard. - Reduce the complexity of the WSDL file by dividing it into multiple, smaller parts.
Problem summary
Discovering a large WSDL file might take longer than the timeout set for the request.
Problem conclusion
A fix enabling the discovery of larger WSDL files will be available in a future release of Business Automation Workflow.
