Error description
di-preprocess utility fails after successfully completing one index type because of a lock found in the delta table of the next index type. This lock was not checked if it exists before starting the preprocess of the first index type.

USERS AFFECTED: WebSphere Commerce Version 7 and Version 8 systems that might have preprocessing jobs overlapping and running while other jobs are running. PROBLEM ABSTRACT: Preprocess utility fails after executing catalog entry type due to lock on catalog group (or vise versa) BUSINESS IMPACT: Preprocess fails. RECOMMENDATION:
Problem conclusion
The issue was fixed by first checking if there are any locks in the database before preprocessing any of the index types. If there are no locks, then locks are inserted to all delta tables before starting the preprocessing.
