JR53881: Performance issue with the IBM Product Recommendations widget

Error description

• The IBM Product Recommendation widget
  (Widgets\com.ibm.commerce.store.widgets.IBMProductRecommendation
  s\IBMProductRecommendations_SKU_UI.jsp) was designed to make
  REST calls to the search server for each part number that is
  returned from the analytics server. This logic can impact system
   performance due to multiple REST calls.

  Multiple REST calls can impact system performance, which can
  result in negative shopping experiences on the storefront.
  
  RECOMMENDATION:
  

Problem conclusion

• Enhance Search REST API and update Store JSP files to reduce the
   number of REST calls to the search server. Instead of calling
  search per part number returned, we now call search once with a
  list of all part numbers returned for this widget.
  
  New REST API is created to support passing multiple part numbers
   in one call.
